There’s what we want to hear,
and then there’s what we need to hear……
This is a no BS therapy space…
we tell you what you need to hear!
We understand you are here because you want your life to be different but you don’t quite know where to start or what to do. If you already had the answers then you wouldn’t be here, right?! We provide you with honest feedback and advice on what is keeping you from achieving your goals. We let you take what you want and leave what you don’t. We know the same thing doesn’t work for everyone and ultimately you know yourself best. We will be here to coach you every step of the way.
And we expect you to do the same!

Our Team
Adam Breister, LPC-MHSP
Owner and Primary Therapist
I specialize in working with men struggling with relational & intimacy issues, chronic stress, workaholism, "busyaholism," burnout, a loud inner critic, and self-destructive behaviors. I strive to help men move through their feelings of shame and inadequacy and develop meaningful relationships in their lives.
What will a session with me look like?
I love bringing an element of humor and lightness to session while also sitting in the muck with you. I will provide some structure and direction while also letting you take the lead when you need. I will self-disclose and give you advice when appropriate as I believe in being a human along side you. Therapy isn’t cheap so I will make sure we are tracking progress based on your goals and helping you become your own therapist in the long term. As much as I might enjoy working with you, I want you to feel equipped to manage your own experiences!
What are my credentials?
- M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Vanderbilt University
- Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP) TN #5115
- Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level II (CCTP-II) ~ over 45 hours
- Comprehensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) ~ over 80 hrs
What am I doing when I’m not in sessions?
Outside of the office you can find me reading at local coffee shops, watching a good movie or TV show, cooking, socializing with friends, playing card games, and anything outdoors (hiking, walking, tennis, camping, hanging by the pool).
I help high-achieving men learn to manage stress, reduce burnout, and improve their relationships.
